I want to leave this one without any comments at all. I'm screaming comments now, but I'm not telling you.

Beware: Turkish superman
Turkish version of superman, in the 70's. Low budget brilliance. I laugh the most to those that are not meant to be funny. This movie is so bad, it's amazing.

a sci-fi cocktail of brilliant visuals
Today I re-watched the ass-kicking sci-fi movie ''The Fifth Element'' after so many years. I'm a big fan of cheesy science fiction movies. I love to see naive approaches, and combine them with my own ideas of what future is going to be like. So childish, free and you don't need any evidence to back-up your thoughts. It's as good as a sunny afternoon in the backyard with unlimited clean papers and crayons.
The visuals of the movie are just brilliant, but especially the costumes, thanks to its collaboration with French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier.

Check out this cool radio: Intergalactic Fm, the west coast sound of Holland. If you like synth dance and cheesy disco, get ready to be drawn into the 80's electro revival they offer.

Retro-futurism
White Car
Zwischenwelt
It all links back to early 80's industrial futurism. Watch out for these names, picked by the FACTmag as artists to watch in 2011, and beware of retro-futurism!

Louis Vuitton-A/W 2011-12
Poetic, rich, intense, rough, classy, and feminine with an attitude on top. Marc Jacobs rocked the Paris Fashion Week really hard, with his A/W collection for Louis Vuitton. 40's, fetish, noir films, bondage, rubber, gloss, crystal handcuffs were ironically supported with long length skirts, big round sleeves, peter pan collars and big childlike buttons. The music was the perfect fit. The use of retired models such as Amber Valletta and Naomi Campbell was a very right choice for the theme of the collection. Oh and of course Kate Moss, who created a fashion moment that won't be forgotten, when she closed the show with a cigarette in her hand. I've never been a fan of her, but have to admit, she looked so cool, so had to be there, so full of an attitude.
Take a look at Amber Valletta, how gorgeous she looks. I guess some people just age better.

Tim Flach-a departure from traditional wildlife photography
Here's another genius artist from Britain: Tim Flach. He's known for his conceptual photographs, focused on animals, especially horses. The use of colors, and the way he highlights the textures are just brilliant.

Patricia Piccinini-a genetic make-up
Either you love it or hate it. Yes, It is disturbing, but amazing. Australian contemporary artist, Patricia Piccinini, the biopunk genius, plays with genetics, psychology and technological advances in her art. Maybe she should have been a mad scientist?
Oh, I just cannot help but be grateful such talent exists.
